Paramedics wen show up at 7 a.m., fo’ give life-saving treatment to da surfa who wen kaukau from one shark bite on top his right leg.

This past Sunday morning, a 58-year-old man was severely bitten by a shark on his leg while he was surfing near Kewalo Basin, as reported by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ?. Paramedics arrived at 7 a.m. to administer life-saving treatment to the surfer who suffered a shark bite on his right leg.

The surfer is currently in serious condition ?. Honolulu Ocean Safety will continue to patrol the waters around Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana after this shark bite incident. This shark attack marks the fourth shark-related incident this year and the third involving a bite, according to a list maintained by the state Department of Land and Natural Resources’ Division of Aquatic Resources ?. Incidents are added to the list after being investigated and confirmed.

On March 19, another shark incident occurred at Anaehoomalu on Hawaii Island ?️. In that case, two 5-foot Blacktip reef sharks bit a swimmer around 12:30 p.m., about 250 yards from the shore. The attack resulted in lacerations to the back of the swimmer’s left knee and left hand.
